RS Premium Flake

15-Year Limited Residential Warranty

Qualifying residential RS Premium Flake installations are backed by a 15-year limited PITLANE warranty against qualifying coating adhesion and installation failures when installed on a properly prepared and approved substrate.

Commercial warranty periods are determined according to the application, expected traffic and operating environment.

Care

  • Sweep or vacuum loose dirt and debris regularly and clean using water and an appropriate non-abrasive cleaner.
  • Oils, fuels, chemicals and other spills should be cleaned promptly.
  • Avoid cutting, gouging, dragging sharp objects or causing unnecessary physical damage to the surface.

RS Rapid Flake

10-Year Limited Residential Warranty

Qualifying residential RS Rapid Flake installations are backed by a 10-year limited PITLANE warranty against qualifying coating adhesion and installation failures when installed on a properly prepared and approved substrate.

Commercial warranty periods are determined according to the application, expected traffic and operating environment.

Care

  • Regularly remove dirt and debris and clean using water and an appropriate non-abrasive cleaner.
  • Clean oils, fuels and chemical spills promptly and avoid unnecessary impact, cutting, gouging or other physical damage.

RS Quartz

15-Year Limited Residential Warranty

Qualifying residential RS Quartz installations are backed by a 15-year limited PITLANE warranty against qualifying coating adhesion and installation failures when installed on a properly prepared and approved substrate.

Commercial warranty periods are determined according to the application, expected traffic and operating environment.

Care

  • Regular sweeping and appropriate washing will help maintain the appearance and performance of the surface.
  • Because RS Quartz can be specified with increased texture and grip, more thorough cleaning may occasionally be required compared with a smoother resin surface.

RS Solid

Commercial warranty periods are determined according to the application, expected traffic and operating environment.

Care

  • Sweep or vacuum regularly and clean using water and an appropriate non-abrasive cleaner.
  • Spills should be removed promptly.
  • Avoid dragging sharp objects across the floor and take reasonable precautions against impact, cutting and gouging.

GT Gridtrack

Ribtrax Pro — Limited Lifetime Warranty

Ribtrax Pro is supported by the applicable SwissTrax Limited Lifetime Manufacturer Warranty for qualifying applications.

Ribtrax Smooth Pro — Limited Lifetime Warranty

Ribtrax Smooth Pro is supported by the applicable SwissTrax Limited Lifetime Manufacturer Warranty for qualifying applications.

Diamondtrax — 20-Year Limited Warranty

Diamondtrax is supported by the applicable 20-year SwissTrax Manufacturer Warranty.

These are manufacturer product warranties provided by SwissTrax and remain subject to SwissTrax eligibility requirements, terms and exclusions.

Care

  • GT Gridtrack can be routinely swept, vacuumed or washed as appropriate.
  • The open-profile Ribtrax designs allow water and debris to pass beneath the walking surface while providing airflow beneath the floor.
  • For deeper cleaning, sections of the modular flooring can be lifted to access the concrete beneath.
  • Individual tiles can also be removed and replaced if damaged without replacing the complete floor.

RX Rubber

5-Year Limited Warranty

PITLANE RX Rubber installations are backed by a 5-year limited workmanship warranty against qualifying installation defects.

Where applicable, manufacturer product warranties may provide additional product protection according to the manufacturer’s own terms.

Care

  • Regular sweeping and occasional washing will help prevent dirt and organic material from accumulating.
  • Spills and contaminants should be removed promptly.
  • Avoid harsh solvents, inappropriate chemicals and equipment that could cut, gouge or otherwise physically damage the rubber surface.
  • Snow and ice should be removed using methods that will not damage the rubber.

RX Bound

15-Year DALTEX Product Quality Guarantee

The DALTEX UVR Resin Bound System used by PITLANE is supported by the applicable 15-year DALTEX Product Quality Guarantee.

The 15-year guarantee relates to the qualifying DALTEX products used within the system and remains subject to DALTEX specifications, installation requirements, eligibility criteria, terms and exclusions.

PITLANE installation and workmanship obligations are separate from the DALTEX manufacturer product guarantee and will be stated within the applicable project documentation.

Care

  • Loose dirt, leaves and debris should be removed regularly using a suitable broom or blower.
  • The surface can be periodically washed using clean water and an appropriate cleaning method.
  • Oil, fuel and other contaminants should be removed as soon as reasonably possible.
  • Care should be taken with pressure washing, snow-clearing equipment and sharp or heavy objects to avoid unnecessary surface damage.
  • Drainage areas should be kept clear to help maintain the performance of the permeable system.

Understanding Your Warranty

Some PITLANE systems carry a PITLANE installation/workmanship warranty, while others also benefit from a manufacturer product warranty or guarantee.

A manufacturer warranty protects qualifying products according to the manufacturer's terms.

A PITLANE workmanship warranty covers qualifying failures attributable to PITLANE's installation work according to our applicable warranty terms.

Where both forms of protection apply, PITLANE will help establish whether a reported issue relates to the product, installation, underlying substrate or another cause.

Warranty Eligibility

PITLANE warranty coverage applies where the relevant system has been installed by PITLANE or under a specifically authorized PITLANE installation agreement and has been used for its intended purpose.

Customers must follow the applicable care and maintenance instructions and notify PITLANE within a reasonable period after discovering a potential defect.

PITLANE may inspect the surface before accepting a warranty claim to establish the cause of the reported issue.

Manufacturer warranty claims remain subject to the applicable manufacturer's eligibility requirements, terms and conditions.

What Is Generally Not Covered?

Unless expressly included within the applicable written warranty, coverage does not generally include:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Scratches, scuffs or normal cosmetic wear
  • Physical or impact damage
  • Misuse, abuse or neglect
  • Damage caused by inappropriate chemicals or cleaning methods
  • Damage caused by third parties
  • Structural movement or settlement
  • Movement or failure of the underlying substrate
  • Cracking originating within the underlying concrete or base
  • Failure of an existing substrate beneath the installed system
  • Moisture or vapour conditions outside the specification of the installed system
  • Flooding or abnormal water exposure
  • Damage caused by circumstances outside the reasonable performance specification of the system
  • Alterations or repairs carried out by others
  • Failure to follow supplied care and maintenance instructions

Specific terms and exclusions vary according to the system and warranty provider.
